Therefore, the first two essays (23/91 Warriors’ Testimonies and Is There a Heaven for a Thug) even retain profanity and are designated under the section entitled Phase 1, but the final two essays show a man who no longer speaks as such and are located in the section designated as Phase 2. Phase one could not be left out so that the authenticity would remain real to the streets and not sugar- coated, for if it were sugar- coated it would not be his truth and that would be a lie.
